RAND
The RAND-Qatar Policy Institute (RQPI) analyzes complex policy problems and helps implement enduring solutions for clients across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. These nations face daunting challenges: Providing children with a good education. Giving people the health care they need. Building effective infrastructures. Creating efficient, transparent government agencies. Preserving the environment and valuable national resources. Making sure that citizens feel secure.
These problems have no easy solutions. Their enormous scope, constraints on budgets and resources, conflicting interests and a lack of reliable information and clear analysis can lead to measures that are less than effective -- or to no change at all. RQPI is committed to helping make changes that make a difference.
RQPI is a collaborative undertaking of the RAND Corporation and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
