What is Qatar Computer Research Institute?
Qatar Computing Research Institute conducts applied computing research relevant to the needs of Qatar, the wider Arab region, and the world, leveraging Qatar's unique historical, linguistic, and cultural heritage. QCRI disseminates the results of its research through community outreach and technology transfer activities.

QCRI’s mission is to create knowledge locally and support innovation aligned with national priorities by conducting cutting-edge, multidisciplinary applied computing research in coordination with Qatari institutions, corporations, and government.

QCRI conducts applied computing research in two basic areas: Multidisciplinary Computing and Core Computing. Each area includes three centers:
